Did everybody see the Sweet Life S. @SA replay 1/22? She'll Heir lost Patrick Valenzuela at the gate and ran the whole race on her own. I know how dangerous it is to have a loose horse on the track, but the girl was totally focused and ran her race. She hit the wire first, actually, and pulled herself up just as if she had a ghost-rider in the saddle. The racing gods were looking after her (and the field) for sure. Check it out.

It looks like Fabulous Strike has been working steadily at five furlongs in PEN. Reading on a few other forums, he dosn't seem to have a race yet he is pointed to. Hopefully you will receive a notification soon.

I know he isnt on your list of horse to watch but i have fabulous strike on my stable alert and i have been seeing steady works has anybody heard where or when he is pointing to run. He was my favorite sprinter, never gave up when running his eye balls out. If anybody has any info let me know...

Thanks for sharing this and thank God for allowing jockeys and horses to come out of this race safely.I bet the jockeys had to change their breeches afterwards.I hope the tractor guys are looking for new jobs,what a careless mistake!!!

Holy Hannah...that was a wild race. Makes one think twice before criticizing how the Downs handled the BC. Great game of "dodge-ems" by the jockeys.

So, can we use your "favorites" thread to mention our own? I've been following a filly/mare for a couple of years now and just love her. Avie's Tale (Tale of the Cat x Fly for Avie, by Lord Avie). She tries sooo hard and is almost always somewhere in the mix at the finish, but I've never got to see her win one. Her trainer, Josie Carroll, brought her down from Canada to run at FG on January 1 in the Blushing KD stakes, Rosie Napravnik aboard. and she WON! in the slop! by 3 1/4 lengths! on her 6th (official) birthday! I'm so proud of her!!!
