I love the "Gray Ghosts" races at any track! And when they race in the evening under a full moon, it's even better. Whoever invented the idea should have gotten a raise!

Why not have a theme for other holidays?

4th of July - horses with flag or freedom or liberty, etc., in their names, and even better with red, white and blue colors!

Christmas - elves, presents, winter!

Memorial Day or Veterans Day - soldiers, fighting, courage (Colonel John could run anywhere!).

You could do the same with Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, etc.

I agree that racing could capitalize on things like this - it's fun and fans would love it.

but do you or any of the bloodhorse staff have any updates on Rags to Riches. Isn't she due to foal soon?

Very cool that they do this kind of stuff at some tracks. That party sounds awesome! Guitar Hero, horses and Halloween fun - what more could you want?

Too bad I'm not anywhere near Meadowlands xD

Hunch bet of the day is in the 10th at Churchill, where Haunted Hotel was on the AE list and drew into the main body of the race.
