For the K-derb i had bodemeister over--union Rags-dullahan-creative cause-went the day well-Gemologist. My thought on Ill have another was that his dream trip in the Santa Anita didnt produce a mind-blowing victory, especially since it was against blueskiesandrainbows and Creative Cause, who is good and all, but i didnt think either would have the kind of kick needed to catch Bodemeister. There's always a horse that is ready to crush your dreams.

Very interesting you blame the horses for making you go to Churchill. =)

I've always liked Shackelford and his race on the Wood undercard in the Carter was very good. (Won by a very game Jackson Bend, the little engine that does)

Zombie and Shack put on a heck of a show. I thought they were going to ding-dong to the finish line!

I'm hoping Shack will come to NY for the Met Mile, which should come up with a great field.

I'm just not sure they will run him back that quickly.

A question. Do you remember such a deep selection of really great runners in the 6f to 1 m category as we have right now?

Mucho Macho Man

Jackson Bend

Caleb's Posse

Shack

Zombie

Calibrachoa

later this year maybe Lumber Guy or how about Hansen as a miler?, will join the older guys...

just to name a few.

btw...my Derby horse was Dullahan. A real shame he was practically running on the grandstand apron down the stretch!

Thanks for the color on the race.
