The joy on Calvin's face is priceless. I've ridden horses all my life, but can only imagine the feeling of sailing across the finish line like that. A little bit of Heaven, for sure. You Go Calvin...live that dream...

Hard to believe Calvin took the red eye, landed at 10:30am, and rode three horses to win. Such a humble guy and hard worker. And with all the money he has earned, still exercises horses and mows his lawn with a push mower. You've got to just love him.

Go Calvin, He is such a nice guy and so down to earth. He treats everyone with respect and is not snobbish like many jockey's are. A great set of hands and just loves to ride, even in all his glory he still rides for the little guys too. I am so happy that he is getting the recognition that he deserves. One more thing Cal marry Lisa will you she waited long enough. Win the Belmont and marry her at the track after the race so all your fans can see it.

Calvin is one of the most genuine people you will ever want to meet. Got his autograph plus all the other jockeys at Pimlico on Black Eye Susan Day Friday. You see these guys race and you know their names only but to be able to get them to sign your poster and the way they handle themselves is a tribute to the sport of racing. Also got my book signed by Laffit Pincay and can't wait to begin to read it. Will be interesting to read GG comments on his NTRA blog of what happened to POTN on Saturday.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!! How wonderful to find that video right here on Bloodhorse since I missed the telecast on Tuesday. Calvin Borel is such a fine man and it is great to see him having so much fun and being rewarded for all his hard work.

Here is the wikipedia link and all the station affiliates that air The Tonight Show in the world are listed towards the bottom.

Unfortunately NBC Universal owns the rights and is marketing Hulu strong. Therefore they are not allowing NBC video to be viewed on YouTube or other sites as "stand alone"

My guess is you can't view it outside the US, if you can't view Hulu or an NBC affiliate.

It doesnt get any better than this,just imagine how many top riders havnt won the derby and this guy won it twice in the last 3 years, amazing,Go Calvin we are rooting for you.

I missed this interview also but couldn't be happier for Calvin. He won the Oaks and Derby and had the choice of which horse to ride in the Preakness. It must not get better than that for a jockey.

Stardusty Rose - yes I did hear Calvin say he had a shot a winning, it came I believe after he said the favorite had been scratched so he called his fiance to bring his suit to the track.

Must point out that Calvin Boreal is great for this sport and the reaction from the audience was wonderful has they applauded and hollered as they watched the replay of the Derby and Calvin winning. He should be named the Ambassador to our sport as he would definitely encourage non-horse people to become horse racing people. He has that magic touch. Go Calvin!

Also liked that his fiance bet my horse Pioneerof the Nile to win and did not even bet on Calvin. That's funny!

Calvin is such a great ambassador for racing! I found it VERY interesting that they did not mention RA though. Were they avoiding the controversy? She was definitely going at that point and I just really thought it was interesting that she was never brought up. I was also impressed with the audience's reaction to the race replay, hopefully they will be watching on Sat.

Calvin is an inspiration for anyone in life. He loves what he does and doesn't even think of it as a job! What a great way to get horse racing under the spotlight for a positive reason!
