Just curious - does anyone know if the Eight Belles race is being run again this year at the KD? I hope so - such a great memorial to a spectacular filly. Still brings me to tears to remember it....

YAY! One of my girls won! Picked because of her ears being pricked like Zenyatta's, and WINNING like Zenyatta!! Woo-Hoo! That was an incredible race! But to be honest, I'm just glad everyone ran and finished safely. What a race,what a race.....

Gotta' go with Quiet Temper. Second and third choices are Blind Luck and Amen Hallelujah. Both QT and BL have their ears pricked when running, which reminds me of my favorite girl, the queen, Zenyatta. It was a hard choice! so it came down to the ears!

My choice is Quiet Temper. If she wins, it makes the Quiet American foal we just had worth alot more!. This filly looks like she will relish the distance and an off track should it rain. 1 1/8 miles is right up her alley.
