What a wonderful article on our Daisy Devine and many thanks for including the photos of a young Daisy. By the way, Devine was added to her barn name of Daisy in honor of my Irish Grandfather Raleigh Devine Peace. That along with her Irish trainer, Andrew McKeever and Irish jockey, James Graham has made for a truly magical experience for us. Thank you.

Hi ladies! When I read the history on this

gorgeous philly.it reminded me a lot of Zenyatta

purchased at a modest price and now really coming into her own. She is big and powerful too. Now I also have a horse to cheer for. You may want to read about Lilacs and Lace on this site who sounds promising.The phillies are really getting much deserved attention now.

Hello Esther, tidings to you from Texas. This is such a nice article about Daisy Devine. You know, i will be pulling for her to win her race for 2 reasons, one Daisy is a favorite flower, and about the only i can grow.

Also, as Mr. Dyer stated, "Daisy was always enthusiastic and easy to work with, however,she could be a bit high-strung at times and mentally fragile. But she was an intelligent filly and just needed a little patience." Doesn't that just sound like most females? I certainly can identify with her.

And i love the photo taken at Athens Woods of her in her stall looking quizzically into the lens of the camera.

Thank you Esther, i so enjoy your articles.

And i cannot but help noticing that her blaze looks like a combination of Rachel Alexandra's and Zenyatta's. Best wishes to her owners.
