I) and thought I would share some videos with you! This was my first time going to the Preakness, so I was excited to document my journey. Thanks so much for sharing your Preakness experience with us. What I wouldn't have given to have been in your shoes.

Kegasus is the most distasteful thing I've seen! In fact, in my humble opinion, the infield is NOT a place to throw a beer party. This is a horse race, an important one, not a frat party and! A lame excuse to draw in that crowd.

The one time I attended, I spent time in the club house, had a Black-Eyed Susan to drink and almost missed the race. Nevertheless it was wonderful and a far more dignified and exciting experience that seeing Kegasus.

I do wish those in Maryland (my home originally) would wake up and do something to promote a huge race that fans would love to attend.

Thanks so much for sharing your Preakness experience with us, and I'm so glad you had such a terrific time enjoying all the sights and sounds of such a lovely place.

Don't tell Shackleford, but I had to check out the Clydesdales first. What a treat those fellas are! But, where was Barley, the Dalmatian? Was he not allowed at the track? Barley is no ordinary dog, though. [laughing]

Thoroughly enjoyed this treat!

Needless to say...they still have a way-to-go!(and, as I understand their time is running short. No little wonder they are failing.) Without going into every little detail of mismanagment (but I will mention of 4 track employees asked of the location of the paddock...none could give the answer (in fact one didn't even know what a paddock was)!..then their was cold b'bq pork sandwiches (which employees could not understand why I did not prefer to serve them to grandchildren); a "block" or "office"party of such in Upper Reserved grandstand of about 50 people who entered with their own coolers of a well stocked liquor cabinet, resulting in about 45 rude, loud, arrogant, standing, shouting to each other imbiciles; ladies rooms which should have been condemned by the Board of Health; etc., etc., etc. All in all, if racing is to survive in Maryland...I think management needs to take 3 day trips to surrounding states (instead of constantly whining that they, MD, are failing because of lack of slots and casinos)...drive to Delaware...drive to Parx in PA..and MOST IMPORTANTLY, drive to MONMOUTH in NJ....MD management just may learn how to operate a track with the customer in mind.
