I love these success stories! Hopefully they will find new homes soon!

I think it would be great if Blood-Horse could do a story once a month on 2 or 3 horses that are up for adoption. It might help a few horses find new families.

Keep these stories coming, Esther. I'm sure that, with your blogs, you have saved many who would otherwise have gone to slaughter. I just feel so ashamed that our country, Canada, does not have a horse slaughter ban. I try to spread the word so that people can have horses like Farrah. Pat

please everyone help find these and other horses forever homes so they don't end up in the slaughter yards

congress is reopening the horse slaughter houses in this country so who know what terror these horses will endure i have 2 horses that i believe i saved from this end one had been years without foot care and no kindness she after 5 years is now taking treats and seems to love humans esp. children

the other went 6 to 8 weeks without food and was close to dying when found and brought to me people who own and race horses should have to make sure that they are taken care of after the track and those who enjoy and bet on the horses should have to contribute to their care. horses are kind and loving animals who remember both kindness and mistreatment so care for them not just the money they earn for you
