I love to hear about horse's in general getting a second chance. Thank you owners for putting this animal's health and happiness first. I wish more owners would do the same. Sadly, they only care about is making money.Kudos to Rahy's Acadamy. Boy he looks so much like a filly I use to care of, that was by Rahy. That stallion had strong genes.

Thx Esther for this great piece on a lovely Canadian horse. I'm glad to see that Rahy's Attorney will be a track pony and be involved in the life that he obviously loves. You continue to bring us such great stories. I'm glad that I got to shake your hand...you are indeed, a great asset to the racing industry.

Keelerman, the Pan American was certainly impressive. I wrote the stakes story for that one... talked to Ellen MacLellan for the first time and she was so excited. RA truly loved his job and I'm glad he's back at the place where he's most at home.

Rahy's Attorney . . . what a horse. I was a huge fan of his for years. It was such a shock when he was finally retired -- in a continuously changing sport, he was one of the few constants for many years.

While there's no denying that his biggest victory came in the 2008 Woodbine Mile (Can-I), my personal favorite moment from his career came in the 2011 Pan American Stakes (gr. II) at Gulfstream Park, where at the ripe old age of seven, he finally won a race at a track other than Woodbine. That was such a wonderful triumph.

I'm glad to hear that he's happy and healthy. This was a wonderful blog post, and the pictures were terrific. Thank you.

What a great story about a wonderful thoroughbred! I wish we had more owners and trainers in the sport like the MacLellans and Ian Black!

I am a fan. I saw him run at Gulfstream as well as his last race at Saratoga and have followed him on FB since. So glad he will be coming to Florida. Maybe his new job will take him to Gulfsteam Park.
