How sad that more of these talented athletes aren't given "jobs" after their racing careers are finished. The poor geldings don't even have the breeding sheds as options. Kudos to those that give to and maintain the organizations that provide for a few of these beautiful animals. Keep up the good work.

What a wonderful article, Esther. I had wondered how Declan's Moon did in the Challenge. He looks gorgeous. Can't blame him not wanting to work fulltime, when he can laze through his days at Country Life Farm. Thanks so much for the update.

Steuart is doing a fantastic job in promoting new careers for these horses. The 100 day challenge was a perfect opportunity to showcase what can be accomplished. Declans Moon is so beautiful, I hope with some rest that he might be able to continue with his new career! He certainly has the looks and class to go far.
