Jason. Yes Hollendorfer not in Hall of Fame. The man who brought us Light Lite now brings us not only this years Kentucky Oaks winner (her 4th graded stakes win but also Tuscan Evening who just picked up her 6th graded stakes win. I was feeling so high on Hollendorfer I put Skipshot over Sidney's Candy in the Swaps.

Del Mar...I'm in my grandstand seat this Saturday.

Zenyatta should run in the last 1 million dollar race the state of California offers.

Billy, Most really good Italian restaurants serve their stromboli with a good marinara sauce.

Now thats good stuff. I love a stromboli from Italian restaurants only.......nothing else compares...

If you have never ate a stromboli, get one , from an Italian resataurant with marinara sauce.....Ummmm, Ummmmm, Good.

I had a pretty awesome pizza quesadilla last week. Instead of dipping in salsa, you dip in Marinara sauce. Now I have to go get one! NEW BLOG!!!

Nothing related to RA or Zenny should be brought up b/c it is about turf racing! I still say the over/under is 20 posts.

If you like Sushi, go to Jeff Ruby's and get the Jeff Ruby roll. It is fantastic. They also have one of the best steaks in town.

I agree with Jason on the East Coast food tho. You can not get good italian, cheese steaks, pizza, or seafood in Kentucky

Zookeper- "the Madness of King George" was a great film and it would be a different topic, but certainly not popular here. As far as helping, I won't beat my head against the wall just so I can see my head bleed. I've tried before and I believe I was told to lighten up. So...... I'm looking forward to the two Aga Khan fillies running in England soon, one in the King George and the other in the Irish Oaks. In France, the Aga Khan's Behkabad won the Grand Prix de Paris at 12 furlongs with Planteur a solid second, setting them up as prospects for the Arc. European racing is in full swing.

Paula : I posted a comment in the other blog going out on a limb and predicting that Zen will go to Saratoga for the Ruffian. I think it will be too hot in Delmar this August and JS would not want to run on a loose poly track (what he said in an interview after the Vanity). If they go east, they'll most likely stay in Belmont and should have enough time to come back and rejuvenate her or maybe just camp out there for the duration of the campaign. I'm hoping she'd go Ruffian, PE/Beldame and then the Classic. I just don't want to risk her getting hurt at Delmar. And this will actually give the east coast die hard Zenyatta fanatics to see her run in person. I know Draynay will be the first to camp out by her stall, he loves her a lot.

Dean's Kitten in the American Derby providing Maker gives Bejarano a cuff and tells him to smarten up. The three year-old turf horses just might be stronger than the 3 y-o dirt horses this year.

Sodapop: No. Sal's has a little bit of everything on menu, doesnt really specialize in anything. An upsclae joint though and consistent. Guiseppes is the best Italian, but even they cant compare to east coast Italian. Just cant get great food in these parts, IMO.

Glad to hear that today was better for you. My daughter-in-law was a surgical nurse for years so, I have some idea of the stress and heartbreak that go along with that job (vocation is a better word). It also has a lot of rewards when lives are saved. Bless you and all nurses, I could never do what you do! The sight of blood drops me to the floor. Thank goodness for you and people like you!!!

I'm also glad that NY is doing away with the detention barn. I'm sure it upsets a lot of horses. How can they perform their best when they have lost it in there before the race?

Just noticed that Lonnie Arterburn has a horse in the WV derby. I use to bet his horses at GG, didn't know he's still training horses. I'll throw a few bucks on his horse just for old times sake lol.

I'll probably go with Interactif on this one. I just can't play heavy favorites. Always been a longshot player so I'll have to go with Interactif and Krypton, if I lose, I lose. I'll just ask Kit or Paula or Zookeeper to adopt me.
