Wanda, I hope my buddy Jordy isn't driving you crazy. He's a shut-in with a busted ankle, ADD, stir crazy and too much time on his hands. But he's still a good guy. No races for us today. He's mad, first we went to Saratoga without him, then another buddy went to a sold out Del Mar yesterday then stayed for Ziggy Marley. He's resorted to watching Harry Potter and on the lookout for "he who must not be named", knowing we fond him here, although relatively quiet. On that breeding and sales deal if you've read that book the other trainer on here recommended it is insane how much it costs to breed, raise and race a baby, wow.

Harlan-Storm Cat/Country Romance by Halo.

Get this I saw Country Romance run as a 2 and 3 year old. Typical Halo not much to look at meaning not pretty. HH is darn good looking, maybe from the dams side Affirmed.

Glad you cashed on an HH. He's sitting second on the 2nd crop list got to get him back on top. Thanks so much for the imfo.

AAAAGH! I don't want to discuss it. 2 out of 3 then the French horse??? Not even my Longshot Silverfoot, at least I had Nautical Storm after I had Flying Private with the Lukas angle at the Spa. Had some exotics. A couple of nice Tri's, Exactas and my 50 across, especially FP the 8th Saratoga bet the two Storm Cat's and then the Harlan's Holiday in honor of Wanda. I just couldn't go with his other 2, thankfully cause dead last. Oh well I had a good day overall.

Is anyone as happy as I am that Silverfoot was flying at the end and almost got third??

$49K in fourth place purse money is still pretty sweet - and he really just missed out for third! And people didn't seem to give him any chance whatsoever of hitting the board!

Not to rub it in Jason, but talk about a price, I just made some major bucks on Flying Private in the 2nd at Saratoga, yippee. Thanks to our friends Aunt and her friendship with Lukas, I went on emotion (and a little bit of FuPeg) and bet the farm (well maybe the ant farm) Now if my other picks come in, the refrain of the handicapper.

Equibase has something way cool if you want to try it it's free. It's Virtual stable and you can enter your fantasy stable, they notify you of workouts, entries and results of your horses. You can get PP's, pedigrees etc for a price but the free part is fun, or maybe I'm just stir crazy from being homebound too much, am getting out a little the last week or so.

I got Archipenko in my first draft of roadtothebreederscup. Man your right he is an iron horse and a very nice racehorse. Any horse that can ship around the world and light the board is a cut above. I also have Einstein from day one and he's gotten me some points. He's a gutsy thing,of that there is no doubt.Have a great day at the races everyone!

Bryce you're the eventer, right. You should have no problem with bravery on a bet after that. Watched the HBO deal on it, lot of danger but mostly like intermediate levels. They said lots of rider and horse deaths, showed some scary jump accidents.

When it comes to life generally and handicapping in particular, it is well-documented your a better and braver soul than me, which you once again abtly demonstrate here by leaving out of the mix both the closest thing I have seen to an Iron Horse on the turf this year in Race 10, Helen Pitts-trained Einstein, and Precious Kitten in the 9th-- seems to me the 9th sets up nicely for Kittens First's girl-- Dreaming of Anna steams to the lead, Rafael B tucks Precious Kitten down, nice stalking trip, then explodes?

Good luck with your picks today Jason. With half the Spa jockey colony off in Chicago, I've been concentrating on finding a good price at Saratoga. So far, I like #4 Building New Era in the 5th race. 5-1 morning line with Eibar Coa riding.

Hopefully we can make a few bucks on him. If not, I will be back to gracefully take any brickbats thrown my way.

I am with you on Rosinka. She has as much potential as any of these. Mauralakana should be a fast closing second. I'm sticking with Tiz over Winchester. Spirit One in the Million - I love the less known Euros.
