Hey Now!! I had a pretty darn good day today.Luckily I wised-up and wheeled Dream Empress and Sky Diva for 2nd in the Juvenile Fillies.Stardom Bound is exactly what her name implies,she's something else isn't she? Though my picks were somewhat chalky,the exotics(exacta/trifecta) paid OK,considering the winning odds.

Hey Jason,I noticed you had a couple of winning tickets yourself,Buddy!...May I suggest you go and try some of Our SOCAL Grub,..@ Tommy's Original Burgers.I beleive there's 1 nearby the Arcadia/Pasadena area.If you're from the Eastcoast,I'm sure you'll dig em' bro'..Good Luck to all,and watch-out for my "sleeper bet",..later,Peace!!!

And in her ninth race God created ZENYATTA! It was nice to see the crowd give her a standing ovation as she road down the stretch. In my standing ovation I gave her "Horse of the Year" honors. Lady Secret and I are pulling for you! The pressure is on Curlin. Good luck.

Just hoping for a big day for all the connections, tracks etc. Not much of a handicapper (Draynay is right about that, most of us trainers admit we aren't, mostly because we use our hearts more than our heads) and I'm not sure how formful the track will be.

In the Juvenile Fillies have to say though that the Lukas filly, bless her heart, seemed to get awful tired in the Alcibiades. That may have just primed her for this race, Keeneland seems to tire a lot of horses. But Stardom Bound was just breathtaking.

I don't know much about the Euro's but they may have an advantage here. Kinda like Zaftig, Ventura. Also like Forever Together and Halfway to Heaven (not sure you noticed Jason but you did just like my Step mother and said his debut instead of hers she always calls the boys her and the girls him, not sure why).

Zenyatta is a monster, literally, that post for her may cause a problem. But she'll probably just drop to the back and make that monster move, we know she can win on the surface. Cocoa Beach's work was impressive she'll be my win bet and may throw Carriage Trail in as well in an exotic.

Great field in FM Sprint! Way too bad Indyanne scratched, her inside draw insured a torrid pace/yet I thought she had a big chance, as Kent D rarely hooks the leader/so I thought Indyanne would've had the lead by herself--also, her Calder race was the best sprint race run in NA this year! My longshots (with a shot) in this race are: #13 Tizzys Tune & #14 La Tee....Tizzys Tune just ran her career best fig/on this track! Also 1 for 1 at 7 fur...by Tiznow--a late bloomer? And Ron McAnally! God love him!.....La Tee is a horse I've followed from the get-go, I had her at 28-1 in her debut, and she has hidden class! Reportedly working/looking good! my box: Indian Blessing, Ventura, Tizzys Tune, La Tee...in Filly Turf #2 Laragh will gun and she looks tough, I'll throw in a longshot, #5 Emmy Darling, a nice filly who didn't seem to like Del Mar, but Sadler/Bejarano are tough combo, nice post, and like I said, she's a nice filly...also will use #7 Consequence.....Juvy Fillies is a great race! 'Think the oddsmaker was smokin' hippie lettuce when he made C S Silk 15-1!!! I like Stardom Bound and C S Silk to both run well in here! This looks like a strong race!...FM Turf looks solid! I do like #8 Halfway To Heaven, and it looks like she has plenty of fight in her! #4 Visit did stay on with her (at shorter) in latest and I'll include her as well...#10 Pure Clan is a "must use", regardless of figs, as she is a tryer who likes the distance!...Zenyatta over Hystericalady and Carriage Trial---you'll get a big price on Hysterical--she's the speed, I believe, or the 2nd place horse/stalker--the one (slim) angle you have to beat Zenyatta is this: Her lone 1 1/8 mi race was her worst!...despite her not liking synthetics, Hystericalady is just a good/game mare, and you gotta like Carriage Trail's Spinster, so I'll go ahead and box these three...other longshots I like on Fri card are: Race 2: #8 La Mandonna...Race 8 #5 Lemon Chiffon...Race #9: #4 Hurry Up Austin....good luck to all--The Breeders Cup is here, in beautiful sunburned California!

Okay Jason, now I'm mad at you and the Bloodhorse. First you talk to Lukas and he touts you on his filly, not really unusual for the man. But then the BH does an interview with unltra-conservative Tom and he touts the horse. I love Stardom Bound but the Lukas filly was my longshot. You have it on your conscience if they find me with chalk in my hand after cliff jumping.

Stardom Bound I think is a very talented but vulnerable favorite. There seems to be less need the lead types in this race than in past years where you usually see 6 fillies with "1 1 1 1 1" in their PPs for every race theyve run and in 3 of SBs 4 running lines, she came from the clouds to close and that may not get it done this year with a normal pace or if she encounters any traffic or trouble. If you can throw her out of the win end, lots of playable double digit horses. Good luck fining the right one. I know it is Bettors Folly but 6 favorites in a row have won the Juve Fillies. I think now is a good time to start trying to buck that trend.

Indian Blessing just got blessed that Indyanne scratched out. A little less gas up front and I agree, she can press just off the run your eyeballs out as far as you can speed types. She will get first run on the tiring speedsters and I am banking on an exacta finish for her if not simply taking the whole enchilada. Maybe a closer nips her so Ill try and get even money on a place bet.

I love Indyanne, but I worry that extra furlong will be too much. She barely held on in the TCA at 6F, and the pace here probably won't be much gentler. If Indian Blessing can continue to relax I think this will set up for her just fine, but I agree Intangaroo's chances are looking up with all the speed in the race.

I live Ventura, Intangaroo in the F&M Sprint. Too much speed even without Indyanne in the race.

I LOVE Laragh in the Juv Turf. Only speed, best last race beyer. Repeat of last is likely. Consequence will love the firm going. Potential spoiler, if anything else.

Stardom Bound in the Juvenile. I can't wait until Mike S. asks this horse to run. 2-1 is a gift!

Halfway to Heaven in the F&M Turf. Tactical speed and so much class. Came closer to Zarkava than a lot of those also rans in the Arc did earlier in the year. One of those times when she stumbled badly and still made a nice run. Mauralakana for second, and Wait a While for third.

Zenyatta is long gone. She's overcome everything. Cocoa Beach and Carriage Trail to battle out the exacta.

Indian Blessing/Ventura/Intangaroo Tri-box..chalky,but Class should prevail here.

I repeat; "Stardom Bound WILL romp by daylight"..the pace should be fairly swift and she'll close like a freight train into that kinda' pace..My Picks: Stardom Bound on top w/the rapidly improving Sky Diva w/all Trifecta.

Zenyatta is a Monster!!!..but I'll try and get some value in the Ladies Classic..I wont use Hystericalady or Ginger Punch,Zenyatta has already beaten both of em',and the pace should be too much for them..Music Note and Cocoa Beach are Top Notch..My Picks: Music Note/Cocoa Beach/Zenyatta Tri-box (hoping the "Amazon" finishes 3rd)..CHA-CHING!!!!

Don't rule out Sealy Hill in the Filly & Mare Turf. Some mighty good turf horses race at Woodbine, and she's Canada's reigning Horse of the Year.

Van Lear Rose is my longshot choice in the Juvenile Fillies. Her last win in the Mazarine (G3) was a good one.

Bear Now could spring an upset in the Ladies Classic, and I would love to see trainer Reade Baker win it, but I am going with Ginger Punch as my first choice.

I think Hystericalady will gun and stay in front of Ginger Punch all the way by a neck---for 2nd! I think Zenyatta will drop way back, 12-15 lengths, circle far wide as if in her own race, then pass field as if in said own race! I really like Stardom Bound, but she's my bet-against on Fri--Simply because she's a deep closer in a huge field, and 2yolds have yet to sort out the class/consistency thing---take a good look see at C S Silk---she looked like the kind at Arlington, and she'll be on/near lead/outta trouble! She'll be my win play/boxed with Stardom Bound...Zenyatta over Carriage Trail and Hystericalady....but just to watch these two deep closers! Trying to buck the speed trend of late, its been hot/hot/hot out here, and dry/windy...I think the two speed fillies Hystericalady and C S Silk...will both do well Fri...what a cup! All those nay-sayers, and even with no Big Brown The Breeders Cup is rock solid! Lots of Euro-Players! I think the morning line guy got it wrong in The Classic--I think Curlin and Casino Drive will be the only ones under 10-1....and Casino Drive will be bet down...he'll be a bet-against for me....so sorry My Boy Charlie is out in the 11 post on the flat mile---he was my play of the Cup! I'll probably still put a bit on him but thats not wise, its just that I've liked him for a while now...and Col John in Classic---watch Prado put him into the race from get-go! This is the real wild card as trainer is quietly confident! This horse exudes class! 20-1 gotta have it! Will box with Curlin, Go Between and Tiago...

Zenyatta should win her Classic "pulling a train". If American owners were as brave as the Europeans have been for decades(Allez France, All Along, Three Troikas, Tryptich, Dahlia, Nobilliary,Ouija Board and presently Zarkava which beat the best colts of their generation)Zenyatta would be a huge factor in the BCC this year especially remembering Eight Belles performance in the Kentucky Derby. Pure Clan is as genuine as they come and should be putting in a career best effort to capture the F & M Turf. Unless Indian Blessing vies for the lead in the F&M sprint, which has not been her style of late, she could be vulnerable to a filly like Ventura because of the distance. Stardom Bound is all the rage among the Juvenile fillies but these youngsters are not to be trusted as any number of them can improve rapidly overnight and upset all calculations.
