I am really cautious with Unbridled horses, have you noticed a trend? Eight Bells, Dunkirk, Summer Bird, Old Fashioned, Pioneer of the Nile, Midshipman,... They have all had leg problems.

Jason-What did you think of Winslow Homer's race? And do you find that Unbridled Songs are sort of fragile? They seem like they can run, but I know he was. It might be a trait that's being passed on by him.

Thiskyhasnolimit also looks like a definite Kentucky Derby contender in the making. He has very good classic pedigree and should be improving rapidly early next season.

Mark: Kip Deville has laminitis and has had bouts with colic. Im not sure of his prognosis long term.

I used to think that Mr. Beyer was a hopeless Derby tout...

I thought, what a favorites bettor, thought he was smarter than that...

But just then, I realized that he had me fooled.

He's an eloquent writer, and prefers to write eloquently about THE STORY...which is usually, THE FAVORITE(S)!

My guess, Andy Beyer wouldn't dare tell you who he's gonna bet, and is merely throwing a smokescreen. He's a bettor at heart, and even though he has legitimized his living by providing product and witty prose, he would never compromise his chances at the window by telling YOU who HE'S REALLY GONNA BET!

Footlick. You have to like the Smart Strike side of things (Lookin at Lucky). I think he will be another Pioneer of the Nile (fine on dirt). I'm waiting for A. Beyer to take out a 2 page editorial on why Looking at Lucky has no chance in the Kentucky Derby. Let's continue to pray for sub 100 Beyers.
