Mr. Campbell, thank you so much for the wonderful stories you share with us. I hope someday you'll write a piece on one of the best horses you ever owned, Summer Squall.

Although I certainly don't need to tell you this, for others who might not know, Mr. Penna also trained Bold Reason, Waya, Private Account, Dance Number, and Relaxing, just to name a few of his top runners.

And since you mentioned the great Allez France, she was bred in Kentucky, and was a member of the truly amazing 1970 foal crop that included Secretariat, Forego, Mr. Prospector, Stop the Music, Sham, Ancient Title, Dahlia, Desert Vixen, La Prevoyante, and Thatch.
