I would highly recommend the Illich book. Try old book stores. A fair price would be somewhere in the 4-7 dollar range.

You have to read it to see how it works.Very strong. I have won the second half of a DD many times.

Will be giving out the Secret Play here in a few days.This is to do with the DD. You can get it in a book by Albert G. Illich called How to Pick Winners.It starts on page 159. Publisher is Prentice Hall Press.Colour of book is yellow and green.

This is the best I have found in all my years of rubbing noses with a horse.

The BloodHorse is good. I have just recently found the BH, and it has a lot of valid points.

I have 3 of them now and the best place to get one would be old book stores or the Gambler's Book Store in Vegas.

Racing back into the 70's was better then than now. Remember the long leafy road into Hialeah!!!Those days are gone forever now.

I am in the process now of trying to find where trainer Frank Merrill Jr. is buried. he lived near Hialeah in the winter. Best trainer I ever saw!!!

Any help out there??

Mack Miller was quite a guy indeed!

Too bad Cot didn't takeaway some of his subtleness and gracefull mannerisms. You'd think Cot Campbell invented the horse and horseracing, just because he sold a few over-priced yearlings to green-horns. The Russians do the same thing only on a bigger scale.

Mack was a friend of mine. He was honored by the Keeneland Bookstore when I introduced my book titled Paul Mellon: Visionary of the Turf. He was hospitalized the day before, but showed up on a rainy day to sign books. A great guy.

I was at Belmont for Fit to Fight's Brooklyn; in winning that he swept the handicap triple. He never received the recognition due for that sweep.

I worked as an exercise rider for Mr. Miller in the early '80's you would get on 3 horses and hotwalk all 3 !! one day I said " Mr.Miller I am used to getting on more horses than this and walk less" he said hang in there and keep walking!" the next week I was on winters Tale ! one of his best !

One of our finest evenings at Chez Pierre was an early Labor Day Dinner when Cot and Anne and Mack and Martha were enjoying their end of a fine Saratoga meet.

I'll never forget Mack's comment before Glowing Honor's first Diana that he was simply "Shooting for the Stars"

Both Mack and Cot are wonderful folks.
