&lt;p&gt;Lights Are On, you are correct Secreto won the 1984 Epsom Derby over El Gran Senor. Piggott had won the Derby on Teenoso the previous year. Even though Piggott was not on the winner in 1984, he still wanted to let El Gran Senor&amp;#39;s connections know that he might have made a difference in the short head that determined the outcome.&lt;/p&gt;
