I worked as a teenager at Aqueduct during the summer walking hots. But before then, as a young gal I went with my dad to the races when ever he could take me. I picked 8 out of 9 races my first time there and my father was furious cause he refused to listen to my picks.I listened to Fred Cappasella with his famous calls;

"it is now post time" Soo New York!

I saw many greats there too. Easy Goer win the Gotham, Funny Cide break his maiden ,etc, etc. But as they say every good thing must come to an end. But if the racing gods see to it there is some more time left for the Big A, I would be very happy to hear it.
