&lt;p&gt;As things are, 30% to 40% of offerings are led from the ring as &amp;quot;SOLD&amp;quot;. &amp;nbsp;Then a review of the sale shows the horses were RNA. &amp;nbsp;The auctioneer&amp;#39;s announcement of &amp;quot;SOLD&amp;quot; was dishonest.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;There is also the nonsensical run-up of &amp;quot;bids&amp;quot; in ten-thousand increments when one-thousand would be the right figure. &amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;Bids&amp;quot; to the reserve may fool only the novice buyer, but isn&amp;#39;t that the buyer we should try to protect?&lt;/p&gt;
