I can certainly identify with Gary's experience, having grown up in New Orleans and, this year, having to evacuate twice for Gustav and Ike in southwest La. Trust me, it's no fun!

Wow, Gary! Very powerful images you gave us. I hope I never know that experience. Glad you are safe. I have a friend up near Shreveport that took in friends, family and horses from all over the Louisiana gulf coast, because he could. God bless him and all of the rest of you who pitched in for your neighbors and strangers in time of need or got help from same.
