Big Brown was and is the best horse that thrilled millons across the country and did not deserve to go out that way. Just be thankful for BB he brought excitiment and intrest to a sport thats is in trouble. Thanks BB, Gary and the rest of the crew. Good luck in retirement

have a good "retirement" brownie, happy hosin!!

I was moved and thrilled every time I saw him. He is magnificent! I am still angry about the Belmont (not at Brown!) and have to admit to being disappointed not to see him run as a 4 year old; especially after reading what Dr Knapp had to say. I will follow him all his life and hope to see him at Three Chimneys. And I have to say, to all those involved with him who shared Big Brown with me this year, THANK YOU! You shared a precious gift.

You can tell he's still getting used to the change in routine. He loves to get his picture taken and didn't want to be led away. He has much longer legs than most of the horses there and looks like he could run forever if given the chance. I plan on going back next year to see the changes in him after he's matured and settled in.

You do not have to be a professional breeder to know this, its a basic common sense no brainer for regular people in the horse industry. Big Brown's foals WILL NOT be blessed with soundness, you will see and in about 4 to 5 years he too will be shipped off to Turkey or some third world country standing for $50 fee. That day will be sad. Remember Silver Charm, Charasmatic, Alysheba, horses that won far more than Big Brown, look where they ended up. Remember Ferdinand, and he was a Kentuckey Derby and Breeders Cup winner, what happened to him??????
