The fact is that the US sales need European buyers more than European sales need US buyers.

Since 1982 some 28,000 horses worth over $4.5billion have been exported from the US to Europe - I sincerely doubt the same numbers went in the opposite direction.

No is suggesting that European racing is 100% drug free, but at least it is not legal to race horses on steriods and other "medications" in Europe.
