&lt;p&gt;As for a 16 yr old mare going to a Thoroughbred auction: &amp;nbsp;Better she finds some breeder who wants her than to be sent to a knacker&amp;#39;s auction.&lt;/p&gt;

But I have taken them to Nationals in other states where the weather was a lot colder than Arizona. &amp;nbsp;My trainter might have thought I was nuts, but I was prepared of all weather and my guys (and girls) never had to worry about being too cold (or too hot). &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
