This is off thread, but I really don't understand CD's intransigence in keeping the turf course closed for training this morning. Last year we missed seeing Workforce because Stoute thought the turf too firm. Now, he's in a snit over this morning's confrontation. I know the course is on the soft side - divots have been flying in morning workouts - but these horses really need these workouts. Seems like some kind of compromise could have and should have been arranged. This doesn't bode well for the future of international cooperation in turfdom.
