Alex'sBigFan-Did ya'see that great Grey Goose win by Hansen (the light grey)??? I was in a quandary as to whom i wanted between Hansen,Union Rags and Dullahan. Great race and not disappointed at all. a 1 winner and a 2 place for the first and second respectively is okay by me and wire to wire is

way over the top for my expectations.

Well Steve Haskin, you called it with the title to this blog for me.

I just finished writing down the names of all horses racing today in the Breeder's Cup.

Beside the number of each horse's name,their jockey and trainer i wrote in the odds that were listed.

To my surprise,beside Afleet Again were the numbers 30-1, i thought at the time, wow, those are for sure long shot numbers. I wonder why they are bothering to even run him! But then i thought at that moment, it would be funny if he won. I thought he had no chance and zoomba he did. But by the time he ran he was now 40 - 1 and had i been there to bet, i would have for sure put something on him.

A gray you all know. I had no clue

til i saw him passing others on his way to the wire.

I started to post here earlier and say that yesterday was filled with surprises and to expect the same for today. Now even Icebox has a chance to win for Zito. Or The Factor or Drosselmeyer, Jackson Bend, etc. etc. etc. Where are my smelling salts!!! :)
