Costs are amazing right now - just basic costs that used to be relatively static. Help wants more money. Clients do not want to pay more board and/or hay charges. The small horse farmer right now has very a lot to cover on a very thin budget. I am not sure I am even breaking even...nature of the beast! But my horses are healthy and happy and my utility bills are paid for the month. There is hay in the loft that should last until the end of May.
