Thought this might be best way to reach you..I use this feature (video replays) often, and very much appreciate it being made available. But, as likely you realize, it would be far more useful-and most time-saving-if one could have the ability to call up a particular horse (wherein there would be a listing of all its races available to click on to). I know this would require more "programming" on your part, but such a program exists on Calracing.com. Unfortunately, they only offer limited races...If you could, please respond to this message directly to my email address.

Guerrella Warfare is one of my favorite horses, he races at Camarero in Puerto Rico, but owns the track there! =)

@Pboo, there are no trainer records in our results ordering. When we had our Data Digest, we often posted a few trainer stats here and there, but I will forward on your suggestion to our team.

My gelding was sired by Pancho Villa and his dam was by Explosive Bid; these are two horses that I am interested in learning more about.

To RGGC- go to Equibase and sign up (free) for their virtual stable. You can keep tabs on all your favorites- horses, trainers and now jocks. Workout notifications, race entries and results. A great tool for keeping track of all your favorites, especially the allowance and claimers.

RGGC, you can go to the Daily Racing Form and sign up for "Horse Watch" which will notify you, (onsite you have to check it regularly) when the horse runs, gives info on the race and the results for that horse. It's a fun way to keep track of personal favorites who are not in the news. You can also keep track of trainers that way, what horses they enter, etc. It is under the "Handicapping" heading, but it's fun to use even if you don't gamble. Enjoy!

What,if any help can you offer to the racing public, find a non-stakes horse that they may have a fondness for?

Alot of fans have favorite horses that aren't of any great interest to the general public, but are important to them. Can you help us?

Well, I said in an earlier thread that I use Firefox exclusively and have never had any problems here such as Explorer users identified. That is no longer the case. Comments in the longer blogs, such as Triple Crown Talk, now disappear at about the half-way point. I tried switching to IE and could see all the comments, so I guess there's something in the new feed that gives Firefox indigestion. :-(

Thanks for the comments, Rachel. The decision to remove the racing history from the Horse Profiles was not our choice. This was a mandate from the Jockey Club (we get all of our racing data from them).

I miss the races listed in the bios on the horses...you only have connections and auction prices...i used to like their races listed...;-)

Count me as one who is disappointed with some of the changes. No more links to equineline.com?? Entries only for stakes?? I don't particularly find the format that the results are in now to be "less cluttered", and certainly not usable to me as a fan.

The improvements are great, perhaps one more small item might further enhance reading. If a box for "workouts" via the entry of a horses name were available it would save a lot of scurrying around to other web sites while enjoying the home page reading.

Thanks for the info. I sometimes have problems getting on BH (WIE), and since time is a issue, I just give up. I thought my computer was giving out, but I didn't have a problem anywhere else. I only try once in a while, sometimes I'm lucky, sometimes not. Hopefully things will settle into a groove, and I will be "back in the saddle" again! :)

The Leaders Lists are in the same place they've always been. You can access them by clicking on "RACING" from the main vertical navigation. Once you're on the racing page, just scroll down until you see "LEADERS".

Hi -

I use Safari or Firefox, depending on which computer I'm on, and I'm not getting the messages the IE folks are getting.

The new font is ok, but on smaller laptop screens I've had to blow up the viewing size.

I like the new plan for bloodhorse.com and my only recommendations are likely to draw fire. "Blood-horse" is broadly defined as "thoroughbred", not just as racehorses, though it's often used that way. The World Equestrian Games are coming to the US this fall, for the first time ever:

and there will be a LOT of thoroughbreds competing as well as many other breeds. This is a unique showcase for equestrian events in this country, whatever your breed or chosen riding styles, so how about some articles on the events thoroughbreds will be involved in? You could help drum up interest in the Games. You could do the same thing in years when the Summer Olympics are taking place.

And please keep up (or expand!) coverage of steeplechase racing. There have been more articles in the last 2 years, I think, and this aspect of racing is fun and entertaining too!

Very nice changes. I also like the suggestions to include more horse coverage. The list on the left helps with quick navigation to other areas that are not visible in the initial window. I stop by almost daily and BH is my main connection to the racing world since I no longer work at a track or live near racing. I enjoy the news but also love the pics, the commentaries, the videos - great work! - Thanks
