I believe the relevance lies in how close the track bias plays to a possible winner shipping in. Coming from Belmont normally I wouldn't see a problem, but Tonalist having had two races prior over a very tiring track may take a little off A+ game. IMO Shared Belief running on any surface would be a prime contender. This horse is always on the muscle, with a bit to spare every time out. He's also a lot faster than any of these over that distance. However if Moreno doesn't show he'll have to run with Bayern early close enough to bring pressure. Bayern is a horse that needs to take the track with him when he runs. That's why he flopped at the Spa. The track was to demanding for him. Left alone almost any horse can get a lot of extra distance and speed.

What's your deal? Ninety per cent of your comments are arrogant/bitter. FYI your absurd remarks regarding Chrome/connections are disrespectful at best. Can promise all the time on many blogs you've used to smear horse and connections..... they wouldn't give you the time of day,could care less. Please say you own a Derby/Preakness winning horse. As for your Bayern if Baffert's crazy enough to enter him in the Classic he will fold like the Travers. He can't get 10f.

If Shared Belief had trouble handling the SA track, what can we expect from him when the new surface gets tighter/faster as the meet progresses, especially the proverbial lightening-fast strip we'll see for the BC?..

Now, he's taking him away from SA to train @ GG like he did last winter/spring because he doesn't "like" the fast,hard surface.

Hmmm...My ears are pricked!

I think it will help him big time by having a race over the surface and not having to travel long-distance to compete. That is always a plus. That's why if I owned an east-coast based race horse....i would stay home and not waste my time.

I love Shared Belief, but honestly feel Tonalist will run him down in the last 100 yards. Blinkers Off has done wonders here.
