Hatch has the best sales credentials of this group, having sold for $150,000 as a yearling and $175,000 as a 2-year old. His dam has produced one runner, the stakes-placed Brooks Bach who earned almost $60,000.
Fujita sold for $105,000 as a 2-year old, nearly twice the average for the sale. He is a half-brother to one winner.
Mr. Universe wins the “my mom is better than your mom contest,” as he is out of the stakes winner Madame X Ski who earned $165,410. However, the dam of Silver Jag is not far behind, as she won over $100,000 and has produced 6 winners including Grade III placed Stephentown winner of $124,890. She also has a 2-year old Medaglia d’Oro filly named Shearl.
Sales Honors among those who have raced goes to Champ Gator (Posse – Nanocity by Carson City) who sold for $200,000 as a 2-year old. Also selling as a 2-year old was Our Honor (Double Honor – Clarabella by Claramount) who brought a final bid of $180,000.
Motor Patrol (Cherokee Run – Hansel’s Girl by Hansel), who sold for $150,000 as a yearling, is out of a stakes-placed mare who earned $237,980. She has produced one winner, the stakes-placed Chestertown Slew who has earned $160,566 through 2008.
