Delegator sold for $135,000 as a weanling and $260,000 as a yearling. He is out of a stakes-winning mare who earned $201,451. She has produced 6 winners including a full-sister to Delegator named Polyhymnia who was an allowance winner in her most recent start (Jan. 11, 2008) to increase her earnings to $64,676. Update: Polyhymnia won the Mademoiselle Stakes on February 29th at Delta Downs.
Formal King sold for only $20,000 as a yearling, but that was nearly twice the average for that auction. His dam has produced 2 winners including the stakes-placed Grafton who earned $347,305.
The top-seller among all the entrants was Winter Knight (Yes It’s True – Cocktail by Relaunch) who sold for $250,000 as a yearling (and $240,000 as a 2-year old.) His dam has produced 4 winners including the stakes winner, True Tails who is a full-sister to Winter Knight. True Tails earned $286,130 in her career.
Anansi (Put It Back – Milady’s Halo by Jolie’s Halo) is a full-brother to Smokey Stover, winner of the Potrero Grande Breeders' Cup (gr. II), the Bay Meadows Breeders’ Cup Sprint (gr. III), the Sunshine Millions Sprint, and the Icecapade all in 2007. Smokey Stover's current earnings total $568,725.
Barreling Home (Awesome Again – Season’s Flair by D’Accord) is out of a stakes winning dam who has produced 3 winners including the stakes winner Super Fuse. Super Fuse won $479,618 in his long career.

Perfect New is out of a winning mare who has produced nothing but winners (from three offspring). These include Lead Off Man who earned $550,246 (However, this was in Japan, where purses are much higher than the U.S.)

Another with impressive sales credentials is El Martillo (Tiznow – Mountain Dawn by Mountain Cat) who sold for $200,000 as a 2-year old. His dam earned $272,457 in 2 years of racing. El Martillo is her first foal.
Tiz Now Tiz Then’s (Tiznow – Trepidation by Seeking the Gold) claim to fame (so far) is that he was the 2nd place finisher in Todd Pletcher’s 2,000th career win (behind On the Virg). However, he also sold for $110,000 as a yearling.
Matty’s G Force (Matty G – In the Till by Mr. Prospector) is out of a dam who has produced 6 winners (3 stakes-placed) including Tina Dynamite who earned $165,069.
The dam of Tiz West (Gone West – Tizso by Cee’s Tizzy) has produced 3 winners including stakes winner Tizakitty who earned $158,644.
