Fort Apache took all the money once again, but he couldn't run down Proud Kentuckian. Evade was along for third. Biscay Bay was much improved from his last start and looks like he may be starting to figure things out.
Proud Kentuckian has the same connections (Owner: Brereton Jones, Trainer: Larry Jones, Jockey: Gabriel Saez) as Proud Spell who earlier on the card ran down Indian Blessing to take the Fair Grounds Oaks.
Fort Apache and Square Deal are nominated to the Triple Crown.
