Today, Maiden Watch stops at Delaware Park where Saar Treaty (Saarland - Top of the Noggin by Chief's Crown) makes her debut. Saar Treaty, who sold for $50,000 as a weanling, is a half-sister to one winner.  In addition, her dam, Top of the Noggin, is a half-sister to 8 winners, 2 of which won during their 2-year old season.

Three of the horses in the race have experience. Impadoodle (Suave Prospect - Missy McKee by Silver Deputy) finished 2nd in a 4.5 furlong Maiden Special Weight race at Delaware Park on May 3, while Arthurs Appeal (Successful Appeal - Affectation by Crafty Prospector) finished 2nd in an identically conditioned race at Delaware Park on May 17 (although the track was good, rather than fast as it was for Impadoodle's race). Impadoodle is full-sister to Umpateedle who earned $726, 590 in a career that included victories in the Gallant Bloom (gr. II) and Endine (gr. III). Arthurs Appeal's dam, Affectation, was a winner at the track and is a half-sister to 6 winners including grade II stakes winner, I Thee Wed.

The third experienced horse is Lesseroftwoevils (Dixie Union - Vegas Prospector by Crafty Prospector) who finished 6th in a 5 furlong Maiden Special Weight race at Belmont Park on May 15. Lesseroftwoevils, who sold for $85,000 as a yearling, is out of grade III winning mare who earned $297,232 including a victory in the Holly Stakes as a 2-year old. Lesseroftwoevils is half- or full-sister to 4 winners including Sheer Luck who earned $205,285 including $79,280 as a 2-year old.

Selling for $50,000 as a yearling was Girlfrienontheside (Indian Charlie - Refrain by Unbridled's Song) who is out of a winning mare who is a half-sister to 2 winners. 

Catherine Street (Peaks and Valleys - Hasty Kiss by Kissin Kris) is the first foal out of the mare, Hasty Kiss, who earned $172,619. Hasty Kiss is a full- or half- sister to 8 winners including Hasty Kris who earned $657,622. Hasty Kris' career included victories in the San Carlos (gr. II) and the Kenny Noe Jr.

One More Prospect (Lexicon - One More Option by Right Jab) is a half-sister to one winner and her dam is a half-sister to 11 winners.

The dam of Miquelina (Unbridled Time - Slide the Dresser by Diplomatic Jet) is a half- or full-sister to 3 winners including 2 who won during their 2-year old season.

Wisegold (Wised Up - Gold Wish by Gold Meridian) is a half-sister to 5 winners including 2 2-year old winners.  In addition, her dam won as a 2-year old.

At Saratoga, River Fancy (filly; Congaree - Go Baby Go (IRE) by Lion Cavern) worked 3 furlongs in :37.12. River Fancy sold for $90,000 as a weanling and is out of a stakes-placed mare who has produced 2 winners.

Dreams d'Oro (colt; Medaglia d'Oro - Morning Time by Gilded Time) worked 4 furlongs from the gate in :52.00 at the El Primero Training Center. Dreams d'Oro, who sold for $70,000 as a yearling, is a half-brother to the stakes winner Morner.

Also working 4 furlongs in :52.00 at the El Primero Training Center was Western Fire (colt; Speightstown - Under Fire by Gulch). Western Fire was a $185,000 yearling. His dam is a half-sister to 9 winners including grade II stakes winner, Incinerate and grade III stakes winner, Fan the Flame.
