Samantha's Strike held the early lead, pursued by Indycency and Tears of Jupiter. In the stretch, however, Holiday Girl came running on the outside and went by them all. She drew off by 8 under a handride, stopping the clock in a nice :58.05. Figlia d'Oro (Medaglia d'Oro) was off a bit slow, but raced evenly throughout to take fifth.

It's a Scottish Mystery for Tannic

Scottish Mystery went right to the lead in this one. Fiery Java applied early pressure, but he soon tired and ended up last. Allright Park took up the chase and he held on well, but did not make a dent in the winner's margin, which was more than 4 lengths at the finish. Tannic (Saarland) came out well, but then started going backward, and I thought he was going to end up at the back. But, after he settled, he started making progress and was one of the few making up ground. At the end, he was 4th.
