This one breaks all the rules, it's not a maiden race and it's not 2-year olds, and has nothing to do with 1st-crop sires. But, it's Curly, making his return after an 8th place finish on July 5 at Arlington. Curly has been working steadily at Arlington and Hawthorne since the end of August and should be ready to go. The only question is whether there is enough speed to set it up for him. Notice that his old buddy Curly Cameli is back, having finally broken his maiden on September 13 (Curly and Curly Cameli hooked up in Curly's debut on April 12 of this year at Oaklawn Park).
