Twoformeoneforyou Over Tbilisi

Gina L. and Jon's Girl dueled early, but Jon's Girl went backwards after a half. River Lime took her turn at the front, but didn't last either. Twoformeoneforyou was in mid-pack and began moving on the inside. She hit the front and drew off. Kia Ora Cat and Precious Jade also closed well to pick up 2nd and 3rd. Tbilisi (Birdstone) was far back early, but made up a lot of ground once she got in gear and ended up fourth. I think Tbilisi may be a candidate for the Marathon, it seems to take her at least a mile to get going.

No Inflation Comes From Behind Audibly

Affirmed On Appeal set the early pace, followed by Greater Glory and Evolutionist. Affirmed On Appeal began to fall back after a half and Greater Glory inherited the lead. He couldn't hold it long, giving it up to Evolutionist. However, I Come From Behind came from behind, as did No Inflation who successfully completed the last to first manuever to take the victory. Audible (Congaree) was off a step slow and looked a little uncomfortable early on. However, he was moving up on the outside before flattening out and finishing 10th. Run Smart One (Smarty Jones) was scratched.

She's Just Livin a Dream

Longshot Northern Harbor set the early pace, chased by Green Pond. Debbie H was tracking these. However, none of these were around at the end, as the race belonged to the closers, Just Livin a Dream, Nan, Miss Catalyst, and Pari, who finished in that order. Just Living a Dream was an impressive winner, but Nan showed once again why she belongs on the turf. Gold d'Oro (Medaglia d'Oro) was in mid-pack, bumped a coupled on the turn and finished 6th. Bella d'Oro (Medaglia d'Oro) broke last and made up a little ground, finishing 8th.

Noble Ruled by a Speed Note

With the scratches of Ariel Rose, Hot Chili Pepper, Mischievious, and Whatababe, Noble Rule (Peace Rules) drew in off the AE list. Standing Appeal took the early lead, with Wise Passion, East to Eden, and Maria's Daughters keeping her company. Noble Rule was sitting off of this front pack, which was the perfect position as Standing Appeal bore out on the turn taking the other leaders with her. Despite this, Standing Appeal maintained the lead. However, when she bore out again on the 2nd turn, Noble Rule was able to move by her. But Speed Note, who had no early speed, was rolling wide and went by them all. Standing Appeal finished 3rd despite her antics, but was disqualified and placed 10th. She's one to watch for the future, if they can get her to run straight she might be something.

Sunday Sunrise Over Saarbright

Copper Forest scampered to the front, establishing a clear lead, quickly putting 6 or 7 lengths on the others. In the stretch, however, the field began to catch up. Sunday Sunrise had to wait for room, but once he got through he surged to the lead. Verily Ture closed well to pick up 2nd. Copper Forest held on well for third. Saarbright (Saarland) broke a little slow and then settled near the back of the pack. He made up some ground on the inside, but didn't have any impact on the placings, finishing 7th.
