As expected, Gemswick Park (Speightstown) went to the lead. Livin Lovin (Birdstone) let her go, tracking in 2nd, not applying any real pressure. In the stretch, Livin Lovin swung out and went after Gemswick Park. It was interesting for awhile, as Livin Lovin was trying to bear in, but Ramon Dominguez got her straight. Gemswick Park had no answer despite setting comfortable fractions, as Livin Lovin drew off to win by better than 4. Another Maiden Watch exacta (ok, so it was only $14.80, but a win is a win), as our 2 girls were well clear from the rest of the pack.

Razzdango is Steel Lucky
Julesnomenclator set the early pace, but Jitter in Rome and Razzdango were never far back. As Julesnomenclator fell back, Jitter in Rome took command. However, Razzdango was closing. Those two soon separated from the rest of the field, with Razzdango getting the win. Steel Lucky (Congaree) broke ok, but then went backwards. She did pass a couple of tired ones to take 6th.

The Queen Sings Over She's a Wow and Chattertown
She's a Wow (Speightstown) broke on top, but then dropped back to stalk. Instead, Chattertown (Speightstown) took the lead. She was not alone, however, as One Pretty Lady and Song of Solomon were in close pursuit. She's a Wow came on the outside to join the leading group. Chattertown was bumped hard, checked, and had to drop back finishing 4th. She's a Wow took the lead, but she couldn't hold off the closing Queen of Song.

A False Impression for Bella d'Oro
Bella d'Oro (Medaglia d'Oro) broke a beat slow again, but this time she was rushed into contention behind pace setter Driven Snow. These two continued to run one-two into the stretch, when Bella d'Oro gave way. Meanwhile, False Impression, Achiever, Driven Snow, and Warm Shower finished in a pack. False Impression got her head in front of Achiever and Driven Snow, who deadheated for 2nd. The favorite, Warm Shower, had to settle for 4th. Bella d'Oro should improve off this effort, as she was in the thick of it until late. Check out the show prices on this one. Apparently, the bridge jumpers were out in full force.

Petch Kept in Mind
Driven by Royal took the early lead, but was soon passed by Petch. There was no rest for Petch, however, as Rhyad joined him. They put some distance on the rest of the field, as Rhyad continued to gain. The margin at the wire was a neck, but Petch was still in front. Keep Me in Mind (Smarty Jones) started slow, but did make up some ground late to finish 6th.
