Power Express took the lead out of the gate. Loving Roe Is Easy (Peace Rules) applied pressure from the start, but she couldn't catch Power Express who drew off by 2. Loving Roe Is Easy tired to third, passed by Mona From Deltona, who was never far off the top 2.

The cast of this one seems familar, not only because we have seen some of these horses before, but also because several (Toby the Coal Man, Miner's Escape) are also entered in the 5th race at Aqueduct which features Speight of Hand. The Maiden Watch horses in this one are Rockland (Smarty Jones - Wiscasset by Kris S.) and Longandstrong (Birdstone - Bessie's Chips by Rakeen).
