Pop Ups the Dashin' Idea

Pop Up went right to the lead. Clicquot Cat, Black Mystic, and Proudly Irish were chasing, but they couldn't make up any ground. In fact, Pop Up extended her lead, winning by better than 5. Clicquot was another 5 clear of Black Mystic, who was a length better than a tiring Proudly Irish. Dashin' Idea (Congaree) veered in at the start and then bobbled a bit, and didn't run much afterwards. She beat one to end up ninth in her first start.

Just watched Stone Legacy. She looked just like Birdstone picking off horses in the Belmont. Poor thing could have won if she didnt bobble at the start. Shes such a game filly.

sophiekea - that was a nice race for Stone Legacy. I saw the bobble and thought oh no, but she starting picking them up pretty quickly. Little more distance and she would have caught the winner.
