Classy Colinda and Scintillation were up front early, as both Dancin Perfect (Pleasantly Perfect) and Bing's Joy (Medaglia d'Oro) lingered near the back of the pack. Scintillation took over in the stretch, with More of the Best, who was always near the front, coming through on the inside. Suddenly, Dancin Perfect emerged from the pack, eating up ground and took the lead. But, who was that horse on the outside, running greenly? She takes a bad step and still keeps coming, it's Bing's Joy, up to complete the Maiden Watch exacta. Or did she?
Uh-oh. There's an inquiry and an objection. Not only are they looking at Bing's Joy, but also Dancin Perfect. They looked at the video a very long time, never a good sign (unless you are hoping for a dq). When the announcement came, you could tell that there was going to be a change. Yes, Bing's Joy was dropped to 4th, but Dancin Perfect stayed up to become Pleasantly Perfect's 9th winner. Should Bing's Joy have come down? The replay is below, you decide.

Beth's Bloomers Drives Over Miss Marple and Me You and Her
Me You and Her (Smarty Jones) went right to the lead, but she couldn't clear Judy Free Bird to her inside. Those two raced together for a half, putting some distance between themselves and the rest of the field. Judy Free Bird began to tire and Me You and Her took the lead. But, she couldn't hold off the closers. Going best of all was Beth's Bloomers who came wide and pulled away. Miss Marple (Saarland) trailed much of the race, but put in a good late run to just miss third.

Thunder Roars Over Saarlandisourland
Mr. Petersson, Sanctum, and Thunder Roar mixed it up early. Saarlandisourland (Saarland) was sitting in a nice position in fourth about 2 lengths behind these. Mr. Petersson began to fade after a half. Thunder Roar pulled away from Sanctum, as a new player arrived on the scene, Titletown Tiger. He secured 2nd, but was no threat to Thunder Roar. Saarlandisourland ran pretty evenly throughout, finishing 4th.

Wives Tale has more Closing Speed than a Wiggle and a Wink
Between You and I and Let Her Peak dueled early, but neither was around at the finish. Fiddlesticks, who had been waiting just off this pair, took over in the stretch, but Closing Kick was coming. However, the real threat was from Wives Tale who came rolling five wide to sweep by the field and draw off. Wiggle and a Wink (Congaree) was closing wide as well, but she couldn't crack the top 3, finishing 4th.

An Uneven Victory
This one was all Uneven, as that horse took the lead from the start and never relinguished it, sparking a myriad of puns throughout the crowd. One That Got Away chased throughout, and put distance between herself and the rest, but she couldn't catch Uneven. Hold Me Touch Me (Saarland) trailed throughout, just a learning experience this time. Con Lover (Congaree) did not draw in off the AE list.

Prom Time Catches Glory Late
Campside set the early pace, but Glory Gold (Medaglia d'Oro) went up to join and then pass her. She continued to lead despite pressure from Campside and Lion in the Sun. Prom Time came driving on the outside and came by for the victory, but Glory Gold did not give way easily. She should get her maiden score soon. Congar Light (Congaree) was off slowly, made a middle move and flattened out to finish 8th.

Sals Legend is A Bit Touchy over Bugle Ann
Sals Legend went right to the lead and never looked back. She soon established a lead of 3 lengths and pretty much maintained that margin throughout. A Bit Touchy and Initial T fought over the minor awards. Bugle Ann was off leisurely and trailed most of the race, but did make a move 4 wide move to take fourth. Not a bad debut.
