Americas Dreaming Too Much for Miracle Baby

Scholastic took to the lead, with the closest pursuers Grace's Valentine and Sally's Song. Grace's Valentine gave up after 6 furlongs, but Sally's Song continued on. She made a bid in the stretch, but Americas Dreaming was on her trail. Americas Dreaming came on at the end sweeping by Sally's Song and just getting up over Scholastic. Miracle Baby (Smarty Jones) was acting up before the race, and had to be loaded without a jockey. She was not much involved once the gates opened, and may not have had her head in the race.
