No Peace for the Woman from Xclusivgirlfriend
Peaceful Woman (Peace Rules) was off awkwardly, but was then rushed up to join the pacesetting pair of Xcluesivgirlfriend and My Friend Melini. Peaceful Woman lost some ground on the turn, letting a couple by. However, she started running again in the stretch, taking third. Meanwhile up front, Xcluesivgirlfriend began to draw away. Why Because chased in 2nd to no avail, but was 5 lengths in front of Peaceful Woman.

Papa and the Mayor Overrun Resplendently
Resplendently (Birdstone) came out running this time, and was up near the pace early. The leaders were Papa Clem and Mayor Marv, who set slow fractions while dueling up front. Mayor Marv put his head in front at one point, but Papa Clem was tough and took the win. Resplendently made a bit of a move, but couldn't gain on the top pair. Millennium Lakes caught him late for third. Resplendently did not run a bad race, the pace scenario was pretty much against him. He should perform better next time out. The buzz horse before the race was Andiron, the A. P. Indy colt. He didn't pick up his feet and finished last.
