Phone Rate takes Nancy's Voyage

Diablo's Got Back sprinted to the front, soon building a several length lead. He was chased by Igonewild. Diablo's Got Back weakened in the stretch, as favorite Phone Rate, who was never far back, swept to the lead on the outside. Sneaky Heart closed from far back to take 2nd. Nancy's Voyage (Medaglia d'Oro) was near the back early, and passed some tired ones late to finish 5th.

La Mona Lisa Paints a Victory Over Alexabella and My Little Sister

This one sure looked like a race full of unraced 2-year old fillies. Yes Imatiger and Hintsnallegations were fractious in the post parade, and Always in My Heart dumped her rider. But, all made it to the gate intact. Maggie's Pleasure and Install dueled early. Maggie's Pleasure tired after a half, as favorite Install took over. Install, however, had no answer for the on rushing La Mona Lisa, who came 5-wide and rallied to the win. Not a great final time, but La Mona Lisa sure looked good out there. Also making up a lot of ground was Always in My Heart. Our two, Alexabella (Congaree) and My Little Sister (Saarland) didn't have much impact, running 9th and 10th.
