An Account Worth Sharing

Clair Bear and Bigdaddysgirl battled early, with Shared Account (Pleasantly Perfect) sitting back in 3rd. Shared Account came rolling 3 wide and took over. It looked like Delectable Cat was making up some ground, but Shared Account skipped clear, winning by seven. Shared Account is a perfect 2 for 2 in her young career, and she certainly looks like she knows what to do out there. It will be interesting to see if they try stakes next time out.

Musket is the Man Over Medaglia d'Onore

Most everyone wanted the early lead in this one. Gaara and A Centurian were most prominent early, with Musket Man not far off. Medaglia d'Onore (Medaglia d'Oro) came up the inside to join the leaders, but he checked hard on the turn. He went back throught the field and never recovered, finishing 5th. Meanwhile, Musket Man made his bid wide and took command. However, General Quarters was coming even wider and caught Musket Man, but he lost momentum after that as Musket Man drew clear.

Mayor Marv Gets Free Beer

Mayor Marv went right to the lead, as the rest of the field took turns trying to overtake him. Thorndor and Molten Lava were up there early, but they both weakened from their pursuit. Millenium Lakes and Mr. Hot Stuff took up the chase late, but they came up short as well. There was plenty of bumping going on behind Mayor Marv, but he was clear of that traffic throughout and won easily. Free Beer (Medaglia d'Oro) was never much involved, finishing 7th.

Burg Berg has the Devine Wiggle

Burg Berg took the early advantage, with L. A. Devine and Wiggle and a Wink (Congaree) stalking. Those three stayed close for much of the race. As they neared the finish, Burg Berg began to draw away, but L. A. Devine and Wiggle and a Wink were still a tandem. L. A. Devine just got second over Wiggle and a Wink by a nose. A nice performance for Wiggle and a Wink, who got the rail trip throughout. Our other runner Atalanta Velox (Medaglia d'Oro) was off slow and never much involved.

Sandi's Ready for Victory

Sandi's Ready went right to the lead and was soon clear of the field. Starship Angel was pursuing throughout, getting closer and closer as the race progressed. At the wire, there was just a nose separating first and second, but Sandi's Ready held on. Alexandrite Ring, who was never that far off, put in a mild bid, but she was well behind the top pair. Mydadsperfect (Pleasantly Perfect) had to steady at the start, and trailed throughout.
