Maintaining Perfect Pitch

Pitched Perfectly (Pleasantly Perfect) went right to the lead, but was hounded by Land Grant. Cellar Dweller was also sticking close. Those two gave way after 6 furlongs. But, Cliffy's Future was closing stoutly. It was close at the end, but Pitched Perfectly kept his head in front. Pitched Perfectly now has 2 wins and one 2nd in 5 starts, with earnings of $67,895.

Looking Longandstrong

Longandstrong (Birdstone) and Galloping Thunder were together early, but Longandstrong soon sprinted clear. Shareholder Dues took a run at him, but Longandstrong had plenty left after setting easy fractions. He drifted out in the stretch, but increased his lead. Shareholder Dues was well clear of Dubai Rambler, who took third by a similar margin.

Perfection Touches By Exclusive Scheme

Exclusive Scheme (Saarland) broke in the air, but was rushed up to the lead. She was joined there by Sassification. That one fell back after 3 quarters, leaving Exclusive Scheme alone on the lead. She had little time to enjoy that advantage, however, as Touchof Perfection was rolling. She went by Exclusive Scheme like that one was standing still and was soon ahead by daylight. The final margin was more than 10. I thought Exclusive Scheme was going to lose more positions, but she held the place spot easily.

Pinckney Hill is Exclusively Winner

Smax and Pinckney Hill bumped at the start, but Smax soon moved to the front. Evolutionist was chasing in 2nd and he hit the lead, as Smax weakened. But, Pinckney Hill was rallying on the outside after being near the back early. He hit the lead and drew off by 3. Evolutionist held 2nd over Chapin Beach, who was making a move, but lugged in. Exclusively Mine (Saarland) was unhurried early, swung to the outside and passed a bunch to pick up fourth. Exclusively Mine certainly outran his odds, which were 116-1.
