Peace Rolls

Cambria Sunrise and Captivating Lyrics dueled early. Captivating Lyrics won that battle, but fresh troops were coming. Peace Roll, Always Pretty, and Kentucky Nectar joined Captivating Lyrics, as it was four in a row for a time. Peace Roll emerged from the line to get the victory. Ignored at the windows, despite the presence of leading rider Rafael Bejarano, Peace Roll paid $22.80 to help the pick 6 carry over.

Deceit is Afleet Over Miss Mary K

Miss Mary K (Speightstown) came out running, grabbing the rail and the lead. She set decent fractions while being pressured by Elizabeth Park. Miss Mary K began to weaken, and Afleet Deceit made her move, soon pulling away. Miss Mary K had to settle for 5th, but she should be stronger next time out.
