Daily Stars Over Saarlight

Rock Hall Honey held the early advantage, but Saarlight (Saarland) was sticking close. Stalking on the outside was favorite Purrfect Bluff, who tired after a half. Saarlight finally switched leads, and pulled free from Rock Hall Honey, but there was a new challenger coming in the form of Daily Star. Saarlight hung tough, but Daily Star was gaining with every stride. The winning margin was a neck, but it really was a bob, as Daily Star's head was going forward and Saarlight's back. It was a tough defeat for Saarlight, but a very good debut for both fillies.
