Anaan Wears Them Down

Hollywood Hit set the early pace, pressed by Great Crusade. Also up close was Ohio State. Watching all this action was Anaan (Medaglia d'Oro). He swung out and wore down Hollywood Hit to get the win. Hollywood Hit was stubborn in defeat, however, and should pick up his maiden win soon. Our other horse, River Romance (Congaree) didn't show much and finished last.

Luster Shines On Broadway

This one was all about Luster. She cleared the field early, and then increased her leading margin throughout. The final winning distance was 9 lengths. Broadway Bertie (Pleasantly Perfect) was at the back early, but rallied very wide, finishing 5th. Looks like more distance might be in this one's future.
