Keith's Kitten, who sold for $100,000 as a weanling, is out of stakes winner Silent Emotion. Silent Emotion was a debut winner at 2, and earned $209,993 in her career. She has produced 2 winners, including stakes winner Unspoken Word.

Third Dawn Blocks Tasty Temptation

This was an interesting race for Tasty Temptation (Medaglia d'Oro). First, she jumped in the air soon after the start, presumably in reaction to the mirror reflection at the finish line. Then, she got blocked in the stretch and couldn't make a run, having to settle for third. Third Dawn, who was partially responsible for keeping Tasty Temptation blocked, overtook pacesetter Saint Cindy to get the victory. Both Rafael Bejarano, jockey of Third Dawn, and Mike Smith, Saint Cindy's jockey, lost their whips late.
