Workouts
A new worker for this blog, as Beyondallboundarys (filly; Saint Liam - In Secure by A. P. Indy) went 2 furlongs in :26.12 at Crupi's New Castle Farm. Stakes winner In Secure, dam of Beyondallboundarys, was a debut winner at 3. In Secure is also a half-sister to 2 winners.
She's Our Prima Donna
The field was reduced to four with the scratch of Simplify. She's Our Annie (Medaglia d'Oro) broke on top and went right to the front. She was a little rank early, but settled nicely, zipping through fractions of :22.49, :45.43, and :57.03. Jon Court took a peak behind, but no one was coming. She's Our Annie cruised to a 2 length win in a time of 1:09.03. On the Menu chased throughout to finish 2nd. Watch the Replay.

Maraschino Red Rides the Pina Colada Wave
Maraschino Red (Medaglia d'Oro) and Britannia Rose went after the early lead, soon joined by Pina Colada (Speightstown). Those three raced together for awhile, but on the turf Maraschino Red pulled free from those. She soon built up a three length lead. Angel Wave, who checked early, came running late to reduce the winning margin, but she was no threat to the victor. Pina Colada tired to 7th. Ride a Wave (Medaglia d'Oro) didn't show much, finishing 6th.

A Piano Solo Cremes d'Oro
Solo Piano, the daughter of Flute, broke for the lead, but Crema d'Oro (Medaglia d'Oro) was stuck to her flank. Trini Dubai held a good spot on the rail in third. Crema d'Oro began to drop back in the stretch, finishing 4th. Solo Piano went on to cruise to an easy victory. Trini Dubai held well for 2nd, and Black Orchid made up some ground late to take third.

No Hope for Gold d'Oro
To my surprise, this one stayed on the turf, which was listed as good. Rajpur Road broke on top, but Mattieandmorgan took command. Chasing her were Rajpur Road and Gold d'Oro (Medaglia d'Oro). Hooked On Hope was just off these in fourth. Gold d'Oro made a move on the turn, and was even with the leader. But, Hooked On Hope was moving better. She was soon joined by Minishaft, and those two finished just a head apart. Half a Surprise closed powerfully, but couldn't catch the top 2. Gold d'Oro ran on, but she had to settle for 4th.

Sue Can't Stop a Cat Onthe Town
Sundayville Break set the early pace, pressed by Sue's Update (Medaglia d'Oro) and Miss Brown Eyes. Sue's Update hit the lead, but she couldn't hold off the rush of Cat Onthe Town who came from well off the pace and circled the field for the win. The margin was 6 lengths. Sue's Update held on for 2nd. Interestingly, at one point in the race, the announcer called Sue's Update by her dam's name, Sue's Good News.

Following the Leader Garburetor
Eastwood Dacat took the lead, pressed by Nice Ring. Garburetor was stalking the top runners. Eastwood Dacat weakened late, as Garburetor hit the front. Follow the Leader (Smarty Jones), who was the favorite, was off slowly. He finally got moving in the stretch, getting by Eastwood Dacat. He beat all the 3-year olds in the race, but couldn't catch the 4-year old Garburetor. Follow the Leader was a bit green in the stretch. Correct that and the slow start, and he'll get the win.
