Stakes winner Congor Bay (Speightstown - Pico Teneriffe by Red Ransom) is the 5-2 morning line choice in the Woodstock Stakes at Woodbine. Congor Bay won his first two races at Woodbine in October of last year, before wintering in California. He finished 3rd in the Eddie Logan Stakes on the Santa Anita turf on December 27, and then won the San Pedro on the Santa Anita Pro-Ride on January 19. His last start came on February 16 in the San Vicente Stakes (gr. II), where he finished 9th. He's had 5 works since that race, including 3 at Woodbine.
Casey's On Call (Gimmeawink - Silver Tear by Silver Buck) was last seen in the Florida Derby (gr. I) on March 28, where he finished 6th. He also finished 5th in the Palm Beach (gr. III) on the turf, and 6th in the Iroquois (gr. III) as a 2-year old. Outside of those stakes tries, Casey's On Call has recorded three wins. He's had a couple of works at Woodbine since his Florida Derby try.
Valiancy (Tale of the Cat - Sobinka (IRE) by Sadler's Wells) won his only previous 2009 start, an Allowance/Optional Claiming race at Fair Grounds on March 14. In 2008, he won one race and finished 2nd twice, including a second in the Monmouth Park NATC Futurity. Valiancy has worked 4 times at Keeneland since his last start.
The only other entrant with stakes experience is Bear It's True (Yes It's True - Frenchglen by Forestry), who finished 6th in the Jack Goodman Stakes at Santa Anita on October 18. Prior to that, he ran three times, recording 2 wins and a second, including a win at Woodbine. This will be his first 2009 start. He has been working at Woodbine since early March.
Heart of a King (Lion Heart - Saintlike by Saint Ballado) finished 5th in his debut on September 9 at Delaware Park. This year, he has run twice and won twice, including an Allowance victory at Keeneland on April 3. He's had one Woodbine work since that win.
Dublin Lane (Alke - John's Love by Chief's Crown) and Bearcatt (Tapit - Nascat by Hennessy) both broke their maidens in their most recent starts. Dublin Lane was victorious in his 4th start, winning by more than 9 at Woodbine on April 11. He's worked once since then. Bearcatt's maiden win came in his second start, back on November 7 at Woodbine. He returned to the worktab in mid-February, recording 9 works, including 4 at Woodbine.

Congar Light (filly; Congaree - Pyrite Dance by Dance Brightly) takes on 7 in a mile and a sixteenth Allowance race at Pimlico, race 6. She breaks from post 6 in this race for three year olds and up, post time 3:30 PM ET. Congar Light has made 7 starts, recording one win and one third. Most recently, she was 6th in a mile and 70 yard allowance race at Phladelphia Park on April 4.
Cinderella's Wish (filly; Speightstown - Godmother by Show'em Slew) who won her debut at Keeneland on April 15, faces winners for the first time in a 6 furlong Allowance race at Pimilico, race 8. This 10 horse field has a post time of 4:26 PM ET.
Lucy to the Max (filly; Birdstone - I Dream by Wajima), Mocha d'Oro (filly; Medaglia d'Oro - Chopard by Silver Deputy), and Atalanta Velox (filly; Medaglia d'Oro - Mandy Mack by Native Prospector) take on each other and 8 others in a 7.5 furlong Maiden Optional Claiming contest on the turf at Turf Paradise, race 4. Post time is 4:29 PM ET. Lucy to the Max and Mocha d'Oro ran against each other on April 6 on the Turf Paradise turf, finishing 3rd and 4th. Rock the Field (colt; Rock Hard Ten - Groovetta by Gilded Time) worked 1 furlong at San Luis Rey Downs in :13.20. Rock the Field sold for $110,000 as a yearling, and is a half-brother to the winner Cerulean Sky. Rock the Field's dam, Groovetta, is a half-sister to 7 winners, including grade II winner Commitisize.

Recession Proof (filly; Afleet Alex - Pert Lady by Cox's Ridge) worked 4 furlongs at Laurel, recording a time of :50.20.
Ghost Shadow (filly; Ghostzapper - Gracious Living by Pleasant Colony) also went 4 furlongs in :50.20, but at Hollywood Park.
Wilreign (filly; Saint Liam - Probable Storm by Tabasco Cat) worked one furlong in :13.60 at Merryland Farm.
Results for April 25
Boo Bear (filly; Pleasantly Perfect - Spectacular Day by Carson City) made up some ground late to finish 5th in her Maiden Special Weight on the turf at Tampa Bay. Peacephilly (filly; Peace Rules - Afillyate by Blushing John) did not draw into the race off of the AE list.
Rue Du Bois (filly; Congaree - Aroz by Fappiano) pressed the pace early in her Maiden Special Weight at Delaware Park, but weakened to 6th.
Don't You Linger (colt; Congaree - So Long Dearie by D'Accord) was in a good position in his Maiden Special Weight turf contest at Aqueduct, but tired to 6th.
Arabian Peace (colt; Peace Rules - Memory Rock by Sheikh Albadou (GB)) didn't run much in his Allowance race on the turf at Aqueduct, running 7th throughout.
Kelode (colt; Saarland - Precious Jewell by Fortunate Prospect) was scratched from his Maiden Special Weight at Calder.
